Less than 400 meter walk to Mystery Bay beach and 10 minute walk through the forest to another 5 beaches.
At Mystery Bay Retreat, we pride ourselves on our seamless blend of comfort and luxury. The stylish and modern interior contains all the amenities you might need for an unforgettable stay, including

Mystery Bay is also a haven for cyclists with lots of new Mountain Bike trails in the area.
After a day of exploration and adventure, relax with a hot cup of home-brewed coffee courtesy of our coffee maker while you enjoy a book, movie, or challenge friends to a board game. Despite its idyllic location, Mystery Bay Retreat comes equipped with unlimited Wi-Fi, allowing you to surf the net or watch movies.

Mustrey Bay Retreat review
Omid A - 24th December 2025Unfortunately, there were many cockroaches throughout the house, including the bedrooms. We understand the jungle location, but more frequent pest control would really help. The Wi-Fi was very slow, especially since mobile coverage in the area is weak. Overall, we expected the house to be cleaner, and having a vacuum cleaner would be useful. Positives: Great location, nicely decorated, plenty of board games and entertainment. We really enjoyed doing the 500-piece puzzle.

Loz S - 5th May 2025Hi team. Enjoyed our stay house was great. I think having the beds not made is a bit of a let down! Not even a fitted sheet sodoesn’t feel as clean as it should. Reusing the doona also … not ideal! Also no body wash - a tiny tube for an 8 person house!! Doesn’t go very far haha

Diana K - 15th March 2025We really enjoyed our stay. The house was so comfortable and the decor very smart and welcoming. Everything was well appointed with nice crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. One little problem we encountered was that there were no instructions or manual for the induction stove - which was very easy to use once you knew how. So a few instructions wouldn't go amiss.
Lovely quiet coastal retreat
Lesley H - 7th March 2025This house is a lovely, comfortable house. Great accommodation for 4 adults and 4 children. The bunk beds are difficult for adults, despite being king single in size. Perfectly located to the gorgeous Mystery Bay beach, Tilba, Narooma and Bermagui. Needs a full length mirror, if getting ready for a wedding, as we were.

Good for the price
John T - 9th February 2024The house was pretty good value, it’s not 250 metres from the beach despite what the sale ad says, it’s more like 400, the photos make it out to be quite a bit bigger than it is, and despite the toilet being so small you have to stand against the wall to open the door to get out, it’s a pretty good little rental. We had a good time and it’s well equipped.
