The cottage is in a spacious tranquil clearing at the rear of a 50 acre property which is run as a wildlife reserve, yet it is only minutes away from Narooma shops and Handkerchief beach. The new in-ground pool and wood burning stove are highlights. The cottage is fully fenced and both pet and mountain bike friendly and is perfect for all occasions from a weekend getaway through to a whole family city escape. This quiet rural cottage is suitable for up to 2 couples or a family of 6. The property is not suitable for people travelling with speed boats, jet skis, etc. Camping and motor bike riding are not permitted and cars and boats cannot be washed because the property relies on tank water.

Additional terms - Pet Friendly
- Tenants must ensure they clean up after their dog prior to departure. (Otherwise excess cleaning fees will apply)
- Local rules about dogs on beaches must be adhered to.
- Dogs must be under the owners control at all times, must be kept confined in the backyard when not on a lead, must not be allowed to roam the streets, and must not disturb the neighbours.
- Guests are fully responsible for the safety of their dog and no liability can be accepted for any misadventure (including as a result of inadequate fencing or escape from yard)

Nicola M - 16th February 2024This is the third time we have stayed here and we absolutely love it. It's so private and has so much space for us and the dogs. The pool is lovely and the place is always spotless. Most definitely recommend it to anyone that wants a relaxing holiday. We will be back.
Great country comfort home!
Kim A - 19th October 2023We had a pleasant stay. Beautiful home set around some bushland and some neighbors. Quiet and also has a swimming pool, not that deep. It had rained one day so we sat by the fireplace for the night and used the pool a few times. There is only one bathroom but the shower is spacious. You are allowed to bring pets. We enjoyed seeing the stars at night. The lighting inside can be dim but it is great for a couple or 4ppl only as there is only 3 bedrooms. Kids playroom upstairs.

Nicola M - 24th November 2022We were absolutely blown away by this property. It is a beautiful house, with a beautiful pool in a beautiful location. My husband, son and two dogs stayed here for 4 nights. The location is very private and there was plenty of room for our two dogs to run around while still being safe within the fence of the property. We spent most of our time BBQing by the pool. The dog beach was 7 mins away by car and we also found lots of cafes near by that allowed dogs. We will definitely stay here again.

Relaxing getaway!
Lee - 12th October 2020This was our second stay at Bush Retreat and it was just as fabulous as the first stay. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfy, the location superb and the kids got to use the pool this time (we went in winter the first time). The house was tidy and clean on arrival and we had sufficient facilities in the kitchen to cook most nights. The tv is a bit old so if you’re thinking of taking video games consoles for the kids to use on rainy days you will need an adapter (or a more modern tv). We are pleased to have found this secluded stay where we can take the whole family (dog included) and all have a lovely and relaxing time. Also close enough to town to drive in and grab supplies or some takeaway. Casey’s in town do a great breakfast! Plenty of great beaches nearby too. We are already planning our next stay!!!

Beth - 26th February 2019Loved everything about the accommodation, was clean and had all you could want in a holiday house. The dogs were happy and relaxed as were the humans, fenced yard was perfect. The pool was sparkling clean and just gorgeous to swim in. We will be back.
